Go to Safety > Accidents to record and track accidents, including the claims, location, and conditions for each one.
Add an accident
- Click + Add Accident in the top-right corner.
- Basic: the Record # is generated for you. Set the Status (New, Open, Closed, or Urgent), Date, and Time, then choose the Driver, Vehicle, and Trailer. Mark whether the accident is DOT reportable and whether the driver was at Fault, and add Notes.
- Claims: select any related claims. See Claims.
- Location: enter the Address, City, State, and Postal Code. Click Draw Accident to sketch a diagram of the scene (optional).
- Details: enter the number of vehicles involved, Hazmat or Gas Spill, Surface, Weather, and the number of injuries and fatalities.
- Yes/No switches: Officer On Site, Ambulance On Site, Towing, Loaded Trailer, and Drug Or Alc Test.
- Click Save to return to the list, or Save & Open to keep editing and add documents such as photos and the police report.
Edit or delete an accident
Click a Record # to open the accident and edit it. To delete it, open it, click the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner, and choose Delete.
Tip: Drivers can report accidents from the driver app when Accident is turned on in Settings > Driver App.
