AI Upload reads a document for you and fills in its details, such as the expiry date, so you don't have to type them. It works with documents like CDLs, medical cards, titles, and insurance.

Upload a document with AI
- Go to Documents (All, Vehicle, Trailer, or Driver) and click Add Document.
- Choose AI Upload.
- Drop in or browse for the file (PDF, PNG, JPG, or JPEG).
- Click Save. AI reads the document and fills in its information.
Other places AI can read documents
- Bulk AI Upload – up to 1,000 documents at once, from Documents > Add Document.
- Maintenance > Records – Import with AI reads a receipt and extracts the parts and labor.
- Safety > Dot Inspections – Import with AI extracts violations and any tickets.
- File Drop – DOT inspections that drivers send in are extracted automatically when Auto-extract DOT Inspection is on in Settings > Other Settings.
