Maintenance Types are the categories you pick when you add a maintenance record, for example Oil Change, PM, Tires, or Brakes. Using the same types on every record keeps your history and costs easy to filter and compare.
Maintenance module: Maintenance Types are used by the Maintenance module. Turn it on in Other Settings under Models.
Add a type
- Go to Settings > Maintenance Types.
- Click + Add Type.
- Enter the type name, for example Oil Change or PM.
- Click Save.
The new type is now available when you add or edit a maintenance record. You can edit or delete types from the same list.
Tip: Keep the list short and clear. A few well-named types are easier for your team to pick from than many similar ones.
