Divisions

Split your company into groups so drivers only see their division's company documents

Divisions let you split your company into groups, such as terminals or business units, so each group of drivers only sees the company documents meant for them.

Add and manage divisions

  1. Go to Settings > Divisions.
  2. Add as many divisions as you need. Each one needs a Division Name.
  3. Add the division's DOT #, address, and phone if they're different from the main company.

How divisions are used

  • Assign each driver to a division in the Division field on their profile.
  • Assign company documents to a specific division, or set them to Default so every division can see them.
  • A driver in Division 1 sees Division 1 documents plus Default documents, but not documents from other divisions.

To require a division on every driver, turn on Division Required in Settings > Other Settings.

Drivers still see documents from other divisions

Check these:

  1. Use the Division field, not tags. Division visibility comes from the Division field on each company document. Adding a tag with the division's name doesn't separate documents.
  2. Check the documents. Open each company document and make sure its Division isn't set to Default. Default documents are shown to every division.
  3. Check the drivers. Open the driver's profile and make sure the Division field is filled in. To set it for many drivers at once, select them in the Drivers list and use the ⋯ menu.

To share a document with only some drivers inside a division, use a Tag Doc instead. See Tag Document.
