Q: Does the free trial include all features?

A: Yes. Trial accounts have every feature, so you can test everything, including File Drop, AI features, and the driver app, before you subscribe.

Q: How do I set up my company account?

A: When you first sign up, our onboarding team can walk you through the setup process. If you’re setting it up manually:

  1. Log in as an Admin and go to Settings > General.
  2. Fill in all required information (company name, address, contact details, DOT/MC numbers if applicable).
  3. Save the settings.

This ensures your company information is available across the system and visible in driver profiles and reports. For a tour of every settings page, see Other Settings.

Q: What is the Company ID (Comp ID)?

A: The Company ID is a unique code for each company in DPB. Drivers who log in with a username need this ID along with their username and password. To find it, log in as an admin and go to Settings > Other Settings. It’s important to share the correct ID with drivers so they can access the right company profile.

Q: How is my bill calculated?

A: You're billed by the number of active drivers each month. The system counts the highest number of active drivers you had during the month.

  • Inactive drivers aren't counted. Deactivate drivers who have left so they don't count toward your bill.
  • Users (admins and office staff who log in to the dashboard) aren't counted.
  • Divisions aren't billed separately. Drivers in every division are counted together in your main account.

For current prices, see digitalpermitbook.com/pricing.

Q: How is my subscription managed?

A: It depends on your plan:

  • Self-serve plans (you signed up online) – manage your subscription yourself from the Subscription page at the bottom of the Settings menu. It opens your billing portal in Stripe.
  • Enterprise plans – your subscription is managed by our team. Email support@digitalpermitbook.com for any billing changes. Enterprise accounts don't have the Subscription page.

Q: My subscription has expired. Did my payment fail?

A: Before expiration, we send reminder emails. On a self-serve plan, open Settings > Subscription to check your billing status in Stripe. On an enterprise plan, or if you need help, contact support to renew. They can re-activate your account without you losing any data.

Q: Where can I find invoices?

Self-serve plans:

  1. Log in with the account that owns your subscription.
  2. Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom of the settings menu.
  3. Click Subscription.
  4. Click the button to open billing in Stripe. There you can see past invoices and download PDF copies for your records.

Enterprise plans: email support@digitalpermitbook.com and we'll send you your invoices.

Don't see Subscription? It only appears on self-serve plans, and only for the account that owns the subscription. Ask that person to log in, or contact support.

Q: How do I update my payment method?

Self-serve plans: go to Settings > Subscription and open billing in Stripe to update your card or payment details.

Enterprise plans: email support@digitalpermitbook.com and we’ll send you a secure payment link to update your card or bank information. Please don't send card numbers by email or chat.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?

Self-serve plans: go to Settings > Subscription, open billing in Stripe, and cancel your subscription there.

Enterprise plans: email support@digitalpermitbook.com with your cancellation request.

Q: I paid my balance but still can't get in. What should I do?

A: Refresh the page in your browser. Access comes back as soon as the payment goes through. If you still can't get in after refreshing, contact support.

Q: Can I invite several team members at once?

A: Not for team members. Add each person in Settings > Users with + Add User, choose their role, and click Invite. Bulk invites are only available for drivers. See Users.
